Shooting Star Boutique Hotel was founded in the early ’90s by Elly Mlang’a who is still owning the Boutique Hotel. Starting as a simple bar/restaurant and B&B, over the years, the small enterprise has metamorphosed from a simple beach bar and banda cottages to the authentic African Boutique Hotel that it is today, increasing the quality without losing the connection to the traditional roots.
